Crussell Atlanta's Deaf Church Freeman

Crusselle-Freeman Church of the Deaf began as the Union Sunday School in 1902. Its mission was simple - provide a place for Deaf citizens in Atlanta, Georgia area to study and understand the word of God and to be part of the Christian faith. In 1957, a church was established whereby hearing impaired Christians, along with their non deaf friends and family, could worship together. Now, nearly 100 years later, Crusselle-Freeman faces the challenge of meeting the same spiritual needs in a vastly different world.
